2010 · Washington D.C.
Two best friends with a shared passion for unforgettable experiences.
Shawn Kaplan and Moh Uzair Ducis, both former DJs who understood the power of music, energy and atmosphere, discovered their complementary creative talents while producing art and fashion events in Washington DC and New York.
Shawn brought experience from owning award-winning hospitality brands, from artistic sushi restaurants to burlesque music venues. Moh contributed his expertise from luxury hospitality with Elizabeth Arden Red Door. Together they built the number one green sustainability driven company in DC, but their true passion remained creating experiential events that pushed boundaries.
2020 · Miami
A bold decision and a city they had dreamed about for years.
Then COVID-19 changed everything. When the nation's capital went into full lockdown, Shawn and Moh relocated to Miami to build a globally recognized production. With Shawn's dog Jaxson Brown by their side, the two best friends set off to build what would become Miami's premier swimwear fashion event.
Over the next five years, Moh's team dominated the Miami swim fashion industry. During that time, Shawn and Moh conceived a second brand merging fashion with wellness and activewear, the seed of what would become World of Wellness Swim and Active Fashion Week.

Unexpectedly, Moh Uzair Ducis passed away in late 2025. He was a creative genius, a visionary producer, and above all, a best friend. World of Wellness Swim and Active Fashion Week was born from the dreams Moh and Shawn shared.
Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in every show, every designer, and every moment we create.
A new chapter, in his honor.
Today, Shawn Kaplan continues to honor Moh's legacy by building World of Wellness into the production and visibility platform that fashion and wellness brands hire when they need more than a tent. We design the runway, build the activation, fill the room and put the right press, buyers and creators in front of the work.
Our point of view is simple. How a brand dresses you, moves you and cares for you is one conversation, not three. So we produce fashion, wellness, beauty, longevity and hospitality together, under one curatorial standard. Every designer on our runway, every clinic in our lounge, every voice on our stage is vetted by our team.
We exist to give founders a stage that actually moves the needle. The runways we build, the platforms we open for emerging designers, the scholarships we extend to young creatives, the rooms we open for wellness leaders to teach and be heard, all of it is in service of the next generation of makers, healers and storytellers.
This is the work Moh believed in. It is the work we will continue to build, in his honor.
